IN PERSON & INTERACTIVE: How to present your conference paper and/or poster based on your research (Humanities & Social Sciences) Part Two
About this workshop
This workshop welcomes any student, staff or emerging researcher in the Humanities and Social Sciences, who would like to learn how to do an oral presentation of their conference paper.
After input on the process of designing an oral presentation, the workshop space gives participants the chance to write a quick abstract, and story an oral presentation, under guidance. Participants are encouraged to test out these presentations to get feedback from other participants. No one will be pressured to do so however!
You will leave feeling confident about tackling a presentation.
* Due to UCT being a contact university and with Covid restrictions easing, the second part of this workshop series is now only being offered in person in semester 2.
What previous attendees have said about this workshop:
- “Thank you for such scholarly informing and enriching opportunities I have been offered in this workshop.”
