ONLINE & PARTICIPATIVE: How to read academic texts, peer reviewed articles and books (Humanities and Social Sciences)
If you have loads of articles to read and do not know where to start, this is an interactive workshop for you! Any student is welcome, whether you are wanting to learn how to read an academic text or how to fine tune your academic article reading skills, for departments within the humanities and social science disciplines. The workshop will also teach you how to read and record appropriately so you can know how to avoid plagiarism.
You will also learn to structure a table using the elements of what you have read, to use towards a literature review.
For this workshop you will need to bring along one peer reviewed academic article, text or book of your choice, in electronic or printed format, which you will use during the workshop.
You will achieve critical thinking skills in reading texts, from this workshop.
