ONLINE & INTERACTIVE: Kick start writing your thesis argument in 3 hours (Part Two)

For this interactive session you will do your thesis writing/reading in real time, during the session, and engage with the facilitator and participants about what you write, using questions and answers with the facilitator, and by posting thesis text in the Zoom chat.

In the second part of this workshop, this three-hour workshop, you can bring what you have worked on in Part One, for feedback. You will be assisted to develop the work you wrote in Part One workshop. If you have written some parts of your thesis argument, but did not attend the Part One workshop, you may sign up for this workshop.

This online workshop will introduce you to tools that will allow you to evaluate the strength of your thesis argument and assumptions leading up to your argument, using evidence from articles. It also includes the practice of placing your argument under chapter headings. Once input has been given, participants will work in pairs or on their own, and evaluate their own and each other's thesis arguments and assumption points.

Please have your thesis writing handy, even if it's only one page; you can also use a printed copy to work from. You are encouraged to bring queries, questions, developed arguments, any writing problems to this session.
