Research Data Services - Savvy Researcher Series
Description
Research Data Management is the care and management of the data that is produced during the course of a research cycle. It is an integral part of the research process and helps to ensure that your data is properly organized, described, preserved, and shared.
The University and many funding bodies require researchers and postgraduates to complete a data management plan (DMP) which articulates how one will manage your research data, including aspects such as data collection, organising and naming your data, curating and storing your data, and publishing and sharing your data.
This session will cover basics of research data management and what processes can assist you in managing your data through your research cycle.
