Careers Compass - Career Development workshop

Description

A 2 day workshop specifically designed to help you align your post graduate journey with your career journey.

Work plays such a central role in our lives, so it is important to pause and consider whether our current actions are purposeful steps towards a rich career experience or whether we are too busy studying to focus on our careers! We invite you to this workshop which will give you the opportunity with a skilled facilitator to think about your future, your values, your family or social/community commitments and where you are going with your career.

Facilitator:

Dr Sarah Riordon: Organisational Psychologist with extensive consulting experience in industry and in an academic environment

What is covered:

  • What work looks like in the 21 century
  • How your values fit in to your choices of work
  • Your Meier’s Briggs personality profile and how this influences your choices
  • CV, LinkedIn, Networking and job searching input
  • All in a discussion based environment with postgraduates from all disciplines
