This workshop will introduce participants to key theories of learning as an analytic tool for understanding the kind of learning that occurs in classrooms, and provide participants with a language for making explicit how they expect students to learn in their class.

These sessions are intended to create opportunities for newcomers (Masters and PhD students) who are tutoring or have limited classroom responsibilities to build or strengthen knowledge and skills on which they can draw in their current teaching context and in the future.
