HYBRID: Preparing for the Three Minute Thesis (3MT) Competition (REPEAT)
This workshop will be a participative and exciting workshop where we will obtain some insights from previous 3MT competitions, both locally and nationally. It is a safe space where you, as the participants, will hone your presentation skills and be constructively critiqued by your own peers in order to improve your overall presentations…and have FUN at the same time! The point of the 3MT Thesis movement is to present your thesis/research in 3 minutes, understandable to a non-specialist audience.
It is expected that you attend this workshop with a research story to tell (i.e. ideas, findings, data… - typically your thesis-in-three-minutes, even if incomplete), that you will potentially use as an entry for the upcoming 3MT local competition, to be held on Tuesday the 29th of September 2026. For more information about the competition and to enter the competition, click HERE. Entry closes on Monday the 31st of August at 12h00 (midday).
Remember: we ALL have what it takes, we just need to “bring it” in an attractive way! We look forward to seeing you all there!
