ONLINE: Ubuntu Class at New York University

Virtual Exchange with students at New York University

Prof. Zack Klim invites you to participate in a virtual exchange with students at New York University (NYU) as part of a course titled: Ubuntu: Collective Consciousness in Everyday Life. This exchange is a space for mutual learning, dialogue, and reflection, where students in South Africa and the United States will explore how Ubuntu is lived, challenged, and reimagined in everyday contexts. Rather than debate or comparison, the emphasis is on listening, shared inquiry, and relationship-building across difference. We hope this exchange will create meaningful connections and offer an opportunity to think together about dignity, community, and collective responsibility in a global context.

South African students are asked to join the NYU class virtually via Zoom on the following dates:

Feb. 10 4pm-5pm SAST

Mar. 3 4pm-5pm SAST

Apr. 7 3pm-4pm SAST

You will need to commit to attending on all dates above, so please register via each of the links.
