DESCRIPTION: \n\nAbout this workshop\n\nThis webinar is designed for senior 
 Masters and PhD students who have worked / collected data and are wishing 
 to begin or who are writing up the results and discussions sections / 
 chapters.  The session aims to unpack how to approach reporting on research 
 findings and results and provides various strategies and insights into the 
 language and style of analysing\, interpreting\, and discussing data with 
 coherence\, cohesion\, and clarity. Time will be allotted for questions and 
 small group interactions and engagement. \n\n \n\nAbout the 
 presenter\n\n\n\n\n\nMs. Tatenda Dandara\, Writing Consultant\, UCT Writing 
 Centre\, CHED\n\nTatenda is a senior Writing Consultant at the UCT Writing 
 Centre with an academic background in sociolinguistics. She has extensive 
 experience in facilitating academic writing and research workshops for all 
 levels of study\, this includes co-facilitating the Mellon Pipeline 
 Development Programme (MPD) writing seminars\; guest lecturing in the 
 Department of African Studies and Linguistics\; and co-facilitating the UCT 
 Global Citizenship Program (GCP) GC2 course. Tatenda’s research focuses 
 on semiotics\, linguistic landscapes and language policy in higher

 workshop\n\n			\n			\n			Students should be familiar with data gathering 
 techniques and tools and should have conducted qualitative/quantitative 
 research. Students are to bring a few samples of journal articles from 
 their field that include method\, results\, and discussion sections.  
 Sample excerpts from own study is encouraged.\n		\n		\n			\n			Level of 
 participation at the workshop\n\n			\n			\n			An interactive level of 
 participation\; collaborative and corporative discussion and small group 
 activities in breakaway rooms will be expected.\n		\n		\n			\n			MS 
 Teams\n\n			\n			\n			\n			\n				It is recommended that you install the MS 
 Teams software onto the device that you will be using to join the 
 workshop\, so that you have full functionality of the software
