About the speaker

South African Canadian storyteller, spoken word poet, and knowledge translation expert. Founder of KT Storytelling, Renira has trained over 50 organizations globally and currently works at two large academic hospitals in Toronto. From classrooms to conference halls, podcasts to television screens, Renira has inspired diverse audiences with her powerful storytelling approach. Renira’s academic background spans three disciplines—Journalism (MA), Occupational Therapy (MSc), and Public Health (MPH)—equipping her with a unique lens for storytelling and knowledge translation.
