DESCRIPTION:About the workshop\n\nWhat comes next? How do you navigate your 
 way from Postdoc to Principal Investigator (PI)? How do you run your own 
 research programme? What is research for impact? How do you know what 
 funders are looking for in winning proposals? \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe 
 International Grants Hub team addresses all these and more in the BEYOND 
 THE POSTDOC session. It will be informative\, engaging and set you up with 
 valuable information and a set of tools to plan your path beyond your 
 postdoctoral fellowship with confidence.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n \n\nThe discussion 
 points will include:\n\n\n	Introduction\n	Shifting from a Postdoc to PI 
 Mindset\n	Navigating the Gap between a Postdoc and Academic 
 Post\n	Navigating the Funding Landscape\n	Developing an Independent 
 Research Program\n	Going Beyond Academic Metrics\n	Building a Professional 
 Network\n	Developing Leadership and Management Skills\n	Conducting 
 Independent Research as a Business\n	Conclusion (including where support is 
 available for each step on the journey)\n\n\n\n\n \n\nDr. Tessa Moll will 
 also share her experience of the grant-seeking process and be available to 
 answer questions and offer advice in navigating the process
