About the presenter
Dr. Hayley Hayes-Roberts,Writing Consultant, UCT Writing Centre, CHED
Hayley Hayes-Roberts is a UCT Postdoctoral Fellow, Design Historian, NIHSS peer mentor and a senior writing centre consultant. Hayley completed her PhD in Design History which focused on Frameworks of Representation at the District Six Museum in Cape Town, and as part of her postdoctoral fellowship has presented and published papers in research fields which include: Museum and Heritage studies and Southern African Design Histories, and has facilitated numerous academic research and writing workshops.

While the workshop is aimed at certain levels of study and faculties, anyone is welcome to join, as long as any stipulated requirements are met, such as participation and/or preparation.
Requirements
Preparation for the workshop
|
Substantial reading in own field is encouraged. Students to bring along four or five journal articles from their field/discipline. A working title and possible research questions of own study will help focus and benefit application. Bring writing equipment / laptop. |

Individual, small and whole group interactive participation is expected in this shared learning experience |
