HYBRID: Developing a Literature Review (Science)
About this workshop
This workshop will introduce students to the principles and practices of effectively interrogating the literature in preparation for developing strong academic arguments:
- Concept mapping your topic (briefly revisited)
- Thematic and active reading
- Developing critical questions
- Literature review matrix
- Analysing the literature
This workshop (2 of 6) can be attended as a ‘standalone’ session; however, it is most valuably experienced as part of the full series, which navigates through the research process.
NB: If you wish to attend an in person workshop and have disability access requirements, please email disabilityservice@uct.ac.za and CC pgdevelopment@uct.ac.za to arrange the appropriate services, where available.
