About the workshop
What are research journals and what role do they play in helping researchers to disseminate their work? What are some of the challenges that researchers face in publishing, and what are publishers doing to address these? This webinar is part of the Author Engagement Programme which is provided through the Wiley-SANLiC publishing agreement, enabling researchers at SANLiC institutions to publish open access at no charge in Wiley and Hindawi journals.
The topics to be covered are:
- Introduction to journal publishing
- The author journey, from finding a journal, through submission to publication
- Publishing ethics
- Effective writing
- The peer review process
