ONLINE: Jumpstart your Presentation Skills

About this workshop

Presenting at any forum (conferences, theses defence, lab meetings, seminars, webinars) can be a hugely stressful experience.  However, presenting is an art form and like any art, requires an approach and practice. In addition, we are presently experiencing the paradigm where ONLINE presentations form an integral and necessary part of that skill set.

This workshop aims to tame your fears of presenting both face-to-face and online, by providing some meaningful insights by an experienced facilitator/presenter and encourages an approach that suits YOUR style.

The workshop will discuss the “practice” of presenting and embed “mock” presentations with helpful critique to enable presenters to gain personal confidence in presenting at any forum.

About the presenter

More than 12 years’ experience as a quantitative scientific researcher; supervised and graduated more than 30 postgraduate students; published more than 40 publications; internal and external reviewer of theses; invited presenter at national and international conferences
