One Day Fast-Forward in Design Thinking

 

ABOUT THE PROGRAMME

The Hasso Plattner Institute of Design Thinking at the University of Cape Town (d-school) is happy to announce that we will be offering a free one day introduction to Design Thinking.

This is a free introductory session in Design Thinking offered to UCT students and staff, who are interested in exploring creative ways of problem solving in a collaborative environment. UCT Staff and Registered Students in any discipline are eligible to apply. Space on the programme is limited and we will be offered on the first come first serve basis.

This programme will be held at the Library Learning Lounge, Main Campus. The participants will learn to work in multidisciplinary teams of between five to six members. Each team is closely facilitated by a professional coach under the guidance of our programme managers.

What to expect?
• Exposure to the design thinking process
• Develop empathy for a user
• Work in multi-disciplinary teams
• Develop low-fidelity prototypes

The programme will be run in the Library Learning Lounge, UCT Main Campus.
