Writing your literature review (for proposals and theses)

Venue: Hlanganani Junction - Level 6 - Chancellor Oppenheimer Library (Main Library)

Minimum entrance requirement: Supervisor approved thesis topic/direction/keywords/argument & premises
Sufficient electronic & downloaded copies of peer reviewed key texts for review

The session: 3.5 hours long with refreshments in between as a break. Situated in the library with discipline specific librarians on call. Students to bring laptop or whatever you are comfortable using to write with.

Content: minimal input on what a literature review is, and how to decide what sort of one to construct - discipline specific.

Students are facilitated and guided to write the headings related to this into a file, and to start writing.
The writing will raise issues and questions. The librarian and presenter will be there to assist.
