Bibliometrics - Savvy Researcher Series
Savvy Researcher Workshop Series
Topic: Bibliometrics
Time: 15h00-16h30
Venue: Ulwazi Training Room (Knowledge Commons) - Chancellor Openheimer Library - Upper Campus
Description
This workshop will focus on creating your own unique researcher profile and research IDs.
Research ID’s allow others to identify the publications that distinguish you from anyone else. It is also useful for author disambiguation purposes, which is when various databases display author names differently, and if you have a common name (e.g. John Smith) it can be problematic for others to easily identify your work.
The workshop will also cover how to find your H-Index and create a citation report.
Please note that this is a ‘hands-on’ session, so please bring a device along.
